For many people the Oktoberfest is the acme of Munich. But just a few really know, how this worldfamous folk festival arised. The occasion for this event dates almost 190 years back: The crown prince Ludwig´s wedding with Therese of Sachsen-Hildburghausen. To remembrance the festival was repeated at the Theresienwiese- for Munich´s joy and the whole surrounding. It´s tapped!
