Garmisch-Partenkirchen offers an opportunity for a comfortable shopping tour, completed with the old upper bavarian houses’ setting. High in flower decoration, frescos-, lüftl- and facadepainting and old gatefacades make the promenade with this place to an experience of traditional bavarian architecture. In Garmisch there are especially worth seeing the Biedermeier-frescos at the guesthouse Husar, the old church in the romanic-gothic architectural style from the 13th century and the Polznakasperhouse al one of the place’s oldest buildings. A Walk through the Ludwigsstreet is strongly recommended the enthusiasts of old architectural art, as well a visit in the werdenfelser local museum.
